The Great Start! Certification is the recognition for outstanding Swiss training companies. It recognizes a good training culture and helps organizations to be perceived as an attractive training company by young talent.

What is the Great Start! certification?​

Great Start! surveys all apprentices – creating the most credible assessment for other young job seekers. The Great Start! certification provides valuable and credible guidance for interested applicants. Finally, the organizations also receive clear feedback on their training culture, their strengths and their development potential.

What is the certification process?

Survey

The first step involves interviewing your apprentices. The questionnaire consists of statements about the training culture experienced. This includes professional advancement and personal perception, appreciation, respectful and fair treatment or lived team spirit. The methodology is based on the established Great Place To Work® FOR ALL model.

Training Concept

The second step involves the assessment of the organization’s training concept. In a questionnaire developed for this purpose, HR managers can document concrete measures, processes and tools that describe their training concept.

Certification

If 70% of your apprentices are satisfied with you as a teaching company, you will receive certification from us as a Great Start! training company. Afterwards it’s time to celebrate internally and communicate externally!
